Adding Job Titles, Salutations and Departments for Staff

While student portrait pages usually only display the names in their labels, staff portrait pages often include extra details. Use the portrait manager to add information about the staff so it may be added automatically to their portrait page. 


Use Table View to most easily enter this information into the portrait manager.




Job Titles

To add or update a job title, click into the person's Title field, then type their job title. Click Update to apply the change.

To add the same job title to multiple portraitscheckmark all people with the title, then click Edit on the bottom menu. A form will appear when you can enter their job title. Click Update people to complete.

Note that as you add job titles, a prefilled list will become available, so you won't need to type the same information again to apply it to another person. 


As you type in the box, the list will grow shorter to only display matching results.




Salutations


To add or update a salutation, click into the person's salutation field, then type their salutation. Click Update to apply the change.


To add the same salutation to multiple portraitscheckmark all people with same salutation then click Edit on the bottom menu. A form will appear when you can enter their salutation. Click Update people to complete.

Note that as you add salutations, a prefilled list will become available, so you won't need to type the same information again to apply it to another person.

Departments


If the staff page should be organized into groups, use the Department column to specify which group they belong to.


Important: Assign department quickly using Assign Roles presets. Manually assign departments only if your school has a particular structure that does not match the presets. Departmental preset include Admin (principal, vice principal, office staff), Faculty (homeroom teachers, specialists, assistant teachers), and Support (other job roles) to help organize your staff page into groups. 


To add or update a department, click into the person's Department field, then type their group name. Click Update to apply the change.
